First of all Fred and Nancy being opposite each other is not well defined. So yes this is screwing with my head.
I just read below at the comments and saw you had the same issue. lol
I'm inclined to agree with you and I don't think the ambiguity really affects it.
I have made a blog post to resolve this issue. I think you guys are over-complicating it. I may have gotten carried away.
